One of the major projects with Mathcraft Security Technologies, Inc., was updating their website and redesigning the layout, graphics, and content. The old website consisted of scattered online pages with very few internal links. The images of their security products were outdated in both style and color. Many of the pages even had less than a paragraph’s worth of content. The information, although sound, did not do much to help sell their product.
The content on each page was extremely technical. While accurate, it didn’t provide much in terms of marketing what the products and services that they had to offer. The language used was understood by those internally who were well-versed in their individual technologies, but it didn’t help give potential clients reasons why they were better the solutions of their competitors. For any new customer, understanding why they should choose Mathcraft turned out to be a challenge. Their website was not helping them to increase business and gain new clients. Our goal was to help them standout in the marketplace, by improving their website content and visual images and that included creating a new company logo.
Mathcraft requested a large online overhaul, and Splash Communications was ready to take on the task and do so without recreating the website, but by redesigning the imagery and revising the content and calls to action. By simplifying the messaging and developing more targeted calls to action, the site was more engaging and helpful for new client acquisition. Splash Communications transformed each page with custom graphics, strong optimization, and inviting content that was much more palatable to potential customers, An restructured and organized new navigation bar allowed Splash to include new pages and condense old ones. Customer slider images and calls to action on the top of the homepage captures the audience’s attention and leads them to more pages on the website. Mathcraft’s website is now a viable part of their sales process helping them to land and close new customers for their products and services.
